We are dedicated to engaging with young people and our local community, which is reflected by our growing list of outreach and public engagement activities.
Members of our Department regularly connect with schools and colleges to deliver workshops and talks that introduce students to chemical engineering as well as broader scientific and engineering principles. We also welcome visits through initiatives such as Headstart where students get the chance to explore our facilities, and participate in events that take them to sites where they can see the results of our work first-hand.
